How is Lipo 360 Performed?

Liposuction is performed in our in-office suite.  The patient is awake, relaxed and numbed.  No general anesthetic or IV is administered. The surgeon will make small incisions and use a cannula to extract excess fat. Tumescent fluid is a numbing agent used during the procedure.

Why Is Lipo 360 Preferred?

Tumescent liposuction is performed as an outpatient procedure that does not require general anesthesia or IV sedation. To achieve maximum efficacy, cosmetic surgery requires unfettered access to areas with excess fat.

Hence, this type of liposuction is extremely effective in this regard.

Patients are under only local sedation, and therefore able to easily switch positions when asked. This allows the surgeon to more effectively target problem areas. Further, the patient is comfortable, relaxed, without any worries about the side effects of being put under general anesthesia.
